Sheriff Ronald "hoss" Seals

I have had the distinct pleasure of serving the citizens of Sevier County for the past 44 years including the past 10 years as Sheriff.  I took office on March 5, 2007 after the untimely death of Sheriff Bruce R. Montgomery and was appointed to the position of Sheriff after being confirmed by the Sevier County Commission.  I was reelected to the position in 2008, 2010, and 2014. The office of Sheriff has been very challenging because of the economic growth Sevier County is experiencing. With the 92,000 residents and the approximately 125,000 visitors nightly, many specialized units have been formed to meet the challenges: Sort Team, Child Abuse/ICAC Investigator, Domestic Violence Team, Traffic Enforcement Unit and the addition of 6 K-9 Units, Sex Offender Registry Compliance Office, Training Division, GIS Mapping Unit, Video Forensic Unit, and a Community Relations Office.
With all the development going on in the Community, the Sevier County Jail became overpopulated and additional facilities had to be built to accommodate the growing inmate population. The Sevier County Minimum Security Facility was completed in 2008 with an addition completed in 2014.
A proud moment with my affiliation with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office was when we received our Accreditation with the Tennessee Law Enforcement Accreditation program in 2014.

Education:
  • Sevier County High School
  • A.S. Degree in Criminal Justice Walters State Community College
  • Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy  (Basic Police School)

  • Tennessee Law Enforcement Executive Development
  • Seminars thru FBI (TLEEDS)
  • Numerous other Law Enforcement Training Courses

  • 2016 Heal Award (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome for female inmates in Sevier County Jail)
  • 2015 United States Humane Society  award/Humane L.E. Award
  • 2014 Walter State Community College/Distinguished Alumni Civic Achievement Award

My question to you Sheriff Seals regarding the Order of Protection.
I was served on January 23. 2019, when I was at Child Support Court, Not aware of my Sister's intentions regarding my mother with whom I was living with and taking care of her and my Father until he passed in 2009. I was called by my Sister in 2015 to move over to her residence to care for her and be there so she won't be alone. Grant it I refused to go because I was at peace in my home with my boys. Because of my heart, losing my deposit of $1000. You get the picture here.
When served on 1-23-2019, I could NOT GET ALL MY BELONGINGS, INCLUDING MY CHILD. I I am a fair and honest person and hate fighting with my family members but unfortunately sometimes it has to come down to that because my sisters can be very hateful mean busy bodies controlling manipulative and my sister with her threats and demands. This has been going on my whole life not that you care, but when it comes time that they need something or want something you know they always come to me for money for living arrangements their children and I was always used, talked about and if I didn't give in. They threatened me saying they are calling CPS, SSA, MY DOCTORS, MY CREDITORS etc. I am tired and sickly I am 57 fighting a awful disease and neurological disorder and I really don't have the time to argue with them. But my belongings are at stake here. Everything I own from underwear to winter coats, to my John Deere Rider. By the on February 8th Judge Ogle dismissed the case for lack of evidence and my mother was a no show, because she didn't even know what was going on behind her back. I have tried to get my belongings ever since the court date on the 8th. They are refusing to gain access to the house so I can make sure everything is there. Coffee pots, mugs, Dishes crock pot curtains towels bathroom curtains. I have so much stuff over $25,000 and some stuff is ruined and she removed my SONS THERAPY Dog and purebred Pug of 7 years because she is claiming neglect everything that's comes out of her mouth is neglect. What about my son and I we ate being abused and tormented extortion of money and my sons SSI BENEFITS. ASK Det HUDDLESTON he was out there and talk to my oldest son a Veteran in The United States Army. We have been discriminated against, hate crimes etc. What about my Rights in the Constitution your Mission Statement and falsifing statements to Adult Protective Services. That's a crime with no proof or evidence I have my evidence. I need clarification and my rights to my belongings. I want my dog she refuses to give me the person or she will pay to replace him today's value on Pugs range from $500 to $5000 it's their choice and all my ruined belongs that she threw out the door and hit me in the head with my iron coat rack that my son witnessed and said he will call the law. I have been the target since I was a child.
